Census Bureau: More women than men in East Prairie in 2020

Of the 2,980 people living in East Prairie in 2020, 53 percent (1,579) were women and 47 percent (1,401) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Missouri News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 142. In the 65 and over age range, there were 449 females and 249 males.
