By eighteen months, most children move away from you but look to make sure you are close, follow one-step directions without any gestures, copy you doing chores, and try to use a spoon! Encourage your little mimic by giving them time with the broom after you are finished. Positive reinforcement of behaviors you approve is a great way to see them done again!
