5.4% of Stoddard County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Stoddard County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.4% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 677 people out of the 28,812 living in Stoddard County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Stoddard County has increased compared to the 5.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Stoddard County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.5%.

Of the 11,881 people who had a job during that time, 37 were employed in the Armed Forces and 11,844 belonged to the civilian labor force.
