Missouri Midterms: Jason Bean for Senate in a city in Dunklin County spends the most during Q1

Jason Bean for Senate spent the most out of political committees among cities in Dunklin County during the first quarter of 2024.

It spent $33,951 on 16 vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was for Campaign Expenses to Kyle Aubuchon, which is based in Poplar Bluff.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in cities in Dunklin County during the first quarter of 2024 came from Committee to Elect Cameron Bunting Parker. It spent $4,390 during the time period on seven different vendors.

In the previous quarter, Jason Bean for Senate was also the biggest spender.

What’s known as “dark money”, which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.

Political campaign financial data is often updated, leading to a sometimes incomplete picture of a committee or candidate's finances.
