On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Sikeston Senior High School standout Payton Howard’s current college team, the North Greenville Crusaders, won 13-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shorter Hawks.

The game took place at Robert H. Ledbetter Baseball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Crusaders’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. at Ray and Bea Dillard Field against Emory & Henry Wasps.
