Sunday, Feb. 23: Bell City High School standout Luke Nichols’ college team wins to Southern Miss Golden Eagles

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Bell City High School standout Luke Nichols’ current college team, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their third matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park against Lamar Cardinals.
