On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Kennett High School standout Payton Heinley’s current college team, the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Henderson State Reddies.

The game took place at Mike Metheny Field. This was their third matchup against the Reddies this season.

The Savage Storm’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at Mike Metheny Field against Oklahoma Baptist Bison.
