On Saturday, March 1, former Kennett High School standout Payton Heinley’s current college team, the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm, won 11-10 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm.

The game took place at Mike Metheny Field. This was their third matchup against the Crimson Storm this season.

The Savage Storm’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Glass Family Field at Myers Stadium against Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers.
