On Saturday, March 29, former Kennett High School standout Payton Heinley’s current college team, the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Oklahoma Baptist Bison.

The game took place at Bobby Cox Field at Ford Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Bison this season.

The Savage Storm’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 1 p.m. at Mike Metheny Field against Randall Saints.
