On Monday, Feb. 3, former Kennett High School standout Payton Heinley’s current college team, the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm, won 10-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northeastern State Riverhawks.

The game took place at Wendell Simmons Field. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.

The Savage Storm’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. at Mike Metheny Field against Northeastern State Riverhawks.
