On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Bell City High School standout Luke Nichols’ current college team, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Lamar Cardinals.

The game took place at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park against Memphis Tigers.
